学习成果8

官方原文(Learning outcomes),版权属 Monash University。

  1. ULO1 Semester 1: Appraise complex engineering problems using appropriate research methods and techniques. Semester 2: Apply project management and engineering management principles to independently plan, execute, and evaluate a self-directed project.
  2. ULO2 Semester 1: Plan the scope and requirements of research projects, adapting to changing needs and potential interdisciplinary inputs. Semester 2: Evaluate current and emerging research to critically reflect on knowledge development, future directions, and technological change.
  3. ULO3 Semester 1: Analyse complex engineering problems to propose and justify sustainable solutions or experiments. Semester 2: Investigate complex engineering problems by identifying salient issues, specifying the problem, and applying evidence-based methods to analyse causes, predict outcomes, and synthesise solution strategies.
  4. ULO4 Semester 1: Integrate foundational and specialised engineering knowledge to develop innovative solutions for complex open-ended problems. Semester 2: Demonstrate the ability to interpret data, justify assumptions, and develop substantiated conclusions through inquiry, critical evaluation of published information, and experimental evidence or testing.
  5. ULO5 Semester 1: Design creative and effective solutions for engineering problems, considering constraints and contextual factors such as public health, safety, whole-life cost, net zero carbon and socio-environmental impacts. Semester 2: Apply risk management principles and contextual knowledge, including relevant environmental, social, cultural, economic, legal, or political factors in the design, evaluation, and communication of engineering solutions.
  6. ULO6 Semester 1: Generate technical and research outputs by applying engineering tools, techniques and resources to complex, open-ended problems. Semester 2: Communicate complex engineering research findings to professional and community audiences that adhere to prescribed technical formats and industry standards.
  7. ULO7 Semester 1: Synthesise project progress and outputs through professional engineering reports and presentations tailored to diverse audiences, including the community and industry.
  8. ULO8 Semester 1: Demonstrate adaptability by responding to changing requirements, embracing new technologies, and prioritising effectively.
