课程简介
In this unit, students will explore collaboratively with their peers the practical side of developing a strategic campaign plan for community improvement. In doing so, students will apply appropriate theoretical concepts to develop a public relations campaign taking into account intercultural and communicative perspectives. Consequently, students will learn how to develop a campaign proposal for a not-for-profit or government organisation.

- ULO1 Identify historical and cultural circumstances that shape society and the mechanisms by which societal change is advanced, including legal, electoral, and international;
- ULO2 critically evaluate and apply appropriate theoretical concepts to the development of an effective public relations campaign;
- ULO3 Develop suitable and measurable objectives for public relations campaigns and design appropriate tactics and strategies for campaign effectiveness,
- ULO4 Apply strategic, creative thinking in the development of a public relations campaign plan and collateral material.
- ULO5 Collaborate with peers in the planning, research, analysis, and reporting components of a group project.

Minimum total expected workload to achieve the learning outcomes for this unit is 144 hours per semester typically comprising a mixture of scheduled learning activities and independent study.
