课程简介
In this unit, you will explore the important industrial, social, and cultural changes brought about by various state-of-the-art digital media technologies, and learn how to apply useful theoretical frameworks to explain those changes. You will learn about some of the hottest digital media phenomena at this moment including their real-world implications and also about relevant academic concepts and theories that will help you understand such phenomena in a more thorough fashion.

- ULO1 identify and discuss the meanings and implications of important Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) theories and apply them to understand and discuss those noteworthy phenomena occurring in the current digital media world;
- ULO2 apply effective teamwork, written/oral communication, and problem-solving skills by practicing designing effective digital media campaigns based on a thorough understanding of various HCI theories;
- ULO3 analyse and anticipate the industrial, social, and cultural impacts of the ongoing digital media culture on contemporary and future society.
