课程简介
Introduction to Psychological Inquiry will provide you with an introduction to the ways in which psychological knowledge is created. This unit explores the methods employed by psychological scientists to find answers to problems involving human behaviour.
By engaging in the research process, you will develop the reflexivity, critical and ethical thinking, and communication skills that are foundational to all psychological inquiry.
At the conclusion of this unit, you will have developed an understanding of the strengths, weaknesses and applications of a wide range of research methodologies used to produce knowledge in the discipline of psychology.

Two hours of seminars per week.
Two hours of tutorials per week, excluding week 1. Induction tutorial: 1 hour in Week 1 of semester
Preparation: Eight hours background reading/preparation for lectures, tutorials and assessment tasks per week.
Attendance at tutorials is recommended in order to successfully complete in-class activities and related assessment tasks.
